Helibug Trism DTS (Direct To Swash) Conversion/Upgrade
Convert/Upgrade Any Align Trex700 Nitro (or Gasser) to "Direct to Swash" Setup
Plug and Play Setup - Utilizes Top Bearing Block Location for Mounting
Made with 6061 (4.75mm thick) Aluminum
No "Servo Reverse" Required in Transmitter
Hassel Free Design - 100% Bolt-on
Swash plate used in Trex700 Nitro needs a longer link. You will need Align
Trex700 Part Number: H70121 or H70112A
This conversion system is compatible with any Align Trex700 Nitro (Version 1
or Version 2). Its a 100% bolt-on Conversion and does not require any
modifications to Trex700 Nitro Frames.
for Helibug Gasser Flyers (HB7-RC Kit), you will need to use sand
paper on the top of each side frames, as Helibug side frames has around 1mm
more material.
Trism DTS Conversion Require Canopy Cutting - Basically,
anything above the top bearing block needs to be removed
This conversion system uses 22mm length links on all three servos. Align Rod
Ends are 13mm each, so by keeping both links back to back, you will get
26mm. There are two ways to overcome this. Either you cut 2mm from each Rod
End and use the included link or lower the servo arm. Any of the two
options works fine. If you dont want to cut 2mm from plastic rod end, then
you will need to lower the servo arm by about 2 degrees. Any of the two
options will have a full pitch throw (+/-)
Universal Conversion System. Mounting option for Both old and new Trex700

WARNING: The radio
controlled model helicopter built from this conversion kit is not a toy and
is not meant for children. It is a flying machine capable of causing
property damage and serious bodily harm to both the operator/assembler
and/or spectator if not built and operated correctly and responsibly.
Rotating components, especially the main rotor blades, are an ever-present
danger. Model helicopters operate differently than model cars and airplanes.
Helicopters by their nature are not positively stable, meaning that even if
properly assembled and adjusted, helicopters will not recover from an
unwanted flight attitude, nor will they hold any particular orientation
without constant control inputs from the pilot.
IT IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE RESPONSIBILITY TO PROPERLY BUILD,
MAINTAIN AND OPERATE HELICOPTER.
HELIBUG has spent considerable time making this product
reliable and easy to build, but only the operator can insure that it is
safe. Because the safe operation of this helicopter is beyond the control of
the Manufacturer and distributor, the owner/operator assumes all risk of
use.
