Zenoah RC Engine Conversion Kit

Designed to convert Spectra-G to use Zenoah RC Series of Engines

 

  

All orders will include the upgraded Engine Mount for Helibug Spark

without even the need to rebuild the whole helicopter

Conversion process can be completed in less than an hour by just removing the helicopter from
the base plate and installing it to the Helibug Spark

(Note: You can install the stock fuel tank only at front, it will not fit behind the engine in any orientation (forward or backward). If you like to install the fuel tank behind the engine, We recommend using 10oz DuBro tank)

Kit Contents
1. Base plate with 4x longer screws for Engine Base
2. 2x Engine Base Mounting Slabs
3. Single Piece Clutch Mount w/ screw
4. 2x Engine Top Mounts with screws

   

Start with the base plate

 

Engine Base Slabs will go between the engine base and the base plate. use the longer screws included in the Kit

 

These steps are not required any longer...conversion kit ships with a single piece clutch mount

 

Remove the Spectra-G from the base plate (without removing any electronics)

This is the location for the Engine Top Mount Plate. These four screws will be replaced with the longer ones included in the Conversion kit

Install the Spectra-G on the Base Plate

Install the Engine Top Mount plate, first from the top on both sides and then the four screws on the engine

Note the slots, these are made for different gear ratio used in the stock Spectra-G. There is no need to adjust anything on this, it will come on the right spot according to the gear ratio you use

Spark Plug wire will go through the column and then goes into the plug

Final look after installation

It is a flying machine capable of causing property damage and serious bodily harm to both the operator/assembler and/or spectator if not built and operated correctly and responsibly. Rotating components, especially the main rotor blades, are an ever-present danger. Model helicopters operate differently than model cars and airplanes. Helicopters by their nature are not positively stable, meaning that even if properly assembled and adjusted, helicopters will not recover from an unwanted flight attitude, nor will they hold any particular orientation without constant control inputs from the pilot.
